Monday Night Classes – Update

I do hope you are keeping safe and healthy. Just a wee update on our Monday night classes. Although Broomhill Hyndland church is open for worship, it is still not open for groups. I have been informed that it would be mid September, however, it may be later than that.

There would have to be considerable changes to the format which I am currently discussing with fellow instructors and my insurance company. Some things that would affect dancers is:

  • Due to reduced numbers (to aid social distancing), dancers would have to pay in advance as a block.
  • Dancers would have to wear a face covering. I had originally thought a visor only, but it is looking like it may have to be a mask with the recent Government changes.
  • Cleaning between classes will affect timings of the class.
  • Handsitizers would be available on entry and exit.

I will continue to update you on the situation. In the meantime, there are plenty of opportunities to dance in your kitchen! Use Youtube videos or pick up some online classes via Facebook. There are many choreographers teaching from home. Most classes are free or you can make a donation.

Keep well, keep dancing and most of all, keep smiling!!
